Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 amβ4:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (954) 432-2080. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, oralfacial.com.

Pembroke Pines is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pembroke Pines follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I recently had all four of my impacted wisdom teeth removed at Oral Facial Center, and I can't recommend this practice highly enoughβit's truly exceptional from start to finish. For over 25 years, I delayed this procedure because I was terrified it would be extremely painful and the recovery would be brutal. I couldn't have been more wrong. The entire experience was incredibly smooth, and the surgery itself was painless thanks to IV sedation and technique. Dr. Cardenas is outstandingβone of the best oral surgeons out there. His skill level is top-tier; based on my personal results, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my mouth going forward. He handled my horizontally impacted teeth with precision, and the outcome exceeded every expectation. The staff is phenomenal and genuinely caring. Glennys, the patient coordinator, was on top of everythingβshe got my insurance approved lightning-fast, answered all my questions thoroughly, and was just a pleasure to work with every step of the way. The two assistants/techs, Dayanira (I might be spelling that wrong) and Lady, were the sweetest and most nurturing people imaginable. They constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and felt g

Got my wisdom teeth removed and had such a pleasant experience! No pain or swelling whatsoever post surgery and healed in a matter of 5 days! Everyone in the office is so kind and sweet as well.

Dr Cardenas has a horrible bedside manner. Rude and condescending. Makes you feel like you're inconveniencing him by being there. The front desk is condescending as well and has been making me wait for over two weeks for a pre-authorization. In the meantime I've already gone to another oral surgeon, was treated with attention, kindness, and respect, and walked out with an estimate from my insurance and a scheduled extraction for next week. Thanks for nothing except wasted time team!
